Apple's 2024 iPad mini 7 was announced on October 15 in a press release outside of an Apple Event. The smallest tablet in the line with an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display, the ultraportable tablet is compatible with Apple Intelligence and features an A17 Pro chip. It also supports the Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil (USB-C) to assist with note-taking, drawing and administrative tasks. Apple retained its starting price of $499 for the iPad mini 7. For the entry $499 price, you get a bump up in storage to 128GB, double that of the iPad mini 6's 64GB for the base model.
